Choi2All-Kinect Martial Arts is an extension of Choi Kwang Do, that has its roots in Tae Kwon Do. Our Martial Art is based on the idea that self-defense techniques should be practical, easy to learn, generate maximum force, enhance the individual’s overall health and develop mental and physical conditioning.
A great deal of research has shown that good lifestyle choices and regular exercise are both critical to slowing the aging process. From age 25, the human body degenerates about 1% per year. However, after even 3-4 months of moderate exercise, the body’s metabolic rate, muscle composition and overall physical ability can increase by 10-15%.
Our Martial Art is a holistic health system and instructors are focused on each and every student living a healthier, longer and more productive life. We have many fun and exciting aerobic and anaerobic drills designed to strengthen the heart and lungs as well as stretching methods and patterns to strengthen all muscles and enhance flexibility and more rhythmic and fluid movements. The aerobic exercises develop stamina and endurance which assists you in daily life. The anaerobic exercises develop speed, agility and explosive power, which are essential in self-defense. In addition, the removal of harsh lockout movements helps children's young bones become strong and healthy at the crucial time when their bone density is being formed. It also helps our older students avoid incapacitating diseases like osteoporosis.
Personal, social and character development are also aims and goals in Choi2All-Kinect Martial Arts. Our instructors work hard to create a feeling of belonging for the students and a desire to achieve personal goals. The Aims to Achieve stressed in class – Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, Unbreakable Spirit – help to build character in a world that today seems so focused on instant gratification and lack of responsibility. Our Martial Art empowers not only children but is also an ideal form of exercise for adults of all ages. Anyone, both young and old, can enjoy the health benefits of training in this martial art. Our students range in age from 5 to 95. Choi2All-Kinect is also a martial art perfect for those with learning and/or physical disabilities. Scientific research has indicated that martial arts is an effective way of helping children with ADD/ADHD, and Choi2All-Kinect's adaptive approach to students is the best martial art program to help these problems.
